Rating is 4-1/2 Stars. Went to LMNO pre-Filmore, around 2:30PM. Split, between three, Aguachile, Guacamole, Grilled Esquites (Street Corn in a Bowl), and Avocado Toast. Everything was excellent. My daughter especially loved the Aguachile (Not Vegan). Three cocktail were all good. Two Margaritas and their 'coconut' drink. Not too crowded. Server was very friendly and helpful. Price was nice! Will definitely be back if in Phila.
This place was SO good! I randomly stopped by one day while I was in the area. I ordered the steak tacos, the Classic Nachos and their famous Strawberry Margarita! The tacos were absolutely delicious but they are very small. They give you 3 tacos total. The nachos were very good! The strawberry margarita is one of my FAVORITES! The restaurant is stunning and the service was very good! The bathrooms were not so great.
Really great night for a friends birthday! Very fun atmosphere with trendy decorations. Great for date night or ladies night. They had a lot of fun cocktails and mocktails for those not as interested in drinking. We shared the chopped salad and guacamole which were both really good. They we got the chicken tacos, duck, and snapper all to share and everyone enjoyed all the dishes! Will definitely be back!
LMNO is a fun Mexican fusion spot in Fishtown! The ambience of this restaurant is a 10/10 with plenty of seating options. The bar is fun and lively, while there's casual outdoor seating and also indoor seating which is very chic and trendy. This is a great spot for drinks and shareable food items. Everything from appetizers to entrees are in shareable format. In terms of the food assessment, the portion sizes are on the smaller side for the price point. The tacos were average tasting as well. The service was friendly and extremely attentive. They consistently checked in on us and ensured our table was taken care of at every point of the meal. Overall, this is a great spot for a fun dinner or drinks. You're here for the atmosphere more than the food quality but it's still a great restaurant option in Fishtown!
LMNO has some of the best vibes in Philly. Food is expensive, but rightfully so, because everything is delicious and very much worth it. I'd come here for a special occasion with larger groups to stay awhile and get drinks and apps. Service is excellent despite them always being absolutely packed when I go. There's lots of bar seating, outdoor seating, and proper dining rooms for groups of all sizes.
This place is amazing!! It is so pretty inside. It has a nice upscale and chic vibe to it. It is pretty big so there is a lot of seating. Parking is a bit tough because there is only street parking. I went around 5 pm on a Saturday so it wasn't busy at all. The waitress was also super sweet and helpful! The food here is so delicious! I ordered the Baja Fish Tacos and wow I loved it. The fish was crispy and everything balanced really well together. My party and I ordered the Shrimp Nachos as an appetizer. It is one of the best nachos I've had in a long time! All the toppings tasted amazing and went to so well together, and the shrimp was cooked perfectly. I can't wait to come back here again to try more items I highly recommend you check this place out!
I can't believe I didn't review this restaurant last summer (July) when we went there. It was one of the best dinner experiences we ever had! Such a cool place! We made a reservation for a Wednesday evening. It was my boyfriend and I and another couple. We sat inside but all of the doors were open and the air coming in was wonderful! Service was great! We didn't wait long for anything! Food and drinks came out quickly! The food was great! The drinks were great! We had so much fun!
The flavors were pretty on point. We started with the Cucarachas, which was fried shrimp assembled above a hot sauce and butter dipping "pool," and though it was pretty simple, it was pretty tasty. Surprisingly, it had just the right amount of heat; the kick doesn't completely overwhelm the flavor. I love how hot sauce and butter is like a thing now. I ordered the Birria Tacos, and they were really tasty. My dinner partner ordered the Chorizo & Calamari Tostada. I know, it sounds like alternate reality surf & turf, but it was also really tasty. We also enjoyed all of the sides: corn, rice, and refried beans. But my dinner partner said they will skip the beans next time (which we're almost like an elevated refried bean puree, and possibly the best version of a refried bean I personally have ever had) and order a double portion of rice. The rice was low key really good. We ended the meal by a sharing a Tres Leches Cake. I always feel that Tres Leches can be either really good or really bad -- I've had one at an Old City Mexican restaurant that literally tasted like wet, ground cardboard -- so I was hesitant when agreeing to order it. Luckily, the one served here was pretty good. Cucarachas: 4/5 Birria Tacos: 5/5 Chorizo & Calamari Tostada: 4/5 Rice: 5/5 Refritos (refried beans): 4/5 Grilled Esquites (street corn): 5/5 Tres Leches Cake: 4/5 Some people complain about the portions (meaning they're on the smaller side), and I get that, but I think we ordered enough courses (meaning all of them), for us to leave pleasantly sated. So yeah, you might leave hungry if you only order an entree. With its funky, hipster vibe and solid service, I will be back to try more items on their menu!
I've heard so much about this place before experiencing it and I walked away thinking...this was absolutely an experience. It was a Friday evening folks were getting off work and headed here for light bites and drinks. The vibe is amazing, definitely a hipster vibe, music energizing, open space, model like servers...yeah an upbeat vibe! So the menu had some cool options, ordered some shareable foods but was a bit shocked at the small portions. I thought I would be having an entire meal and be full from our order but we weren't and ended up having to order more food to feel full. The prices are relatively high as well so add the to the additional food needed, this experience got pretty pricy. Overall the food was delicious, picturesque, but again just small potions although they are not considered tapas. A cool first date or coworker hangout spot.
Loved the vibe of this place! Our server was really helpful and gave us great recommendations. I loved the mango margarita - it was "spiced" but not too spicy, not too sweet, and was a lot more complex than just your average daiquiri. I also got the prickly pear margarita which is one of the best I've had in the city. The duck tacos with hoisin were amazing and super different than your average taco place, which I loved. The tuna and shrimp ceviche was great too and definitely a good quantity! I will definitely be back soon for happy hour!
